Sleep-disordered breathing is common and often goes undiagnosed. Treating it can leave you more awake and alert, and lowers the risks around surgery and anaesthesia.
Should we talk?
It is worth getting in touch if you snore or have been told you stop breathing in your sleep, feel tired during the day or fall asleep easily, have recently been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, or are preparing for weight loss surgery or another operation.
How it works
We start with a consultation to talk through your symptoms; often the likely diagnosis is clear at this stage. If a sleep study is needed, it is usually done at home. Treatment may include APAP, CPAP, BiPAP or another device. We start with a one-month rental and plenty of support with mask fit and comfort, to make sure it works for you.
Short or long term
For some weight loss patients, treatment is only needed for a few months while weight comes down. With heart conditions, atrial fibrillation or more established sleep apnoea, longer-term treatment is usually right. To arrange a consultation, use the contact form below.
