I have been a consultant anaesthetist since 2005, and still work for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust at Hammersmith and St Mary's. In private practice I work mainly at Cromwell Hospital and OneWelbeck, caring for patients whose anaesthetic carries more risk than usual. I founded the Society for Obesity & Bariatric Anaesthesia (SOBA) and sit on the Cromwell Hospital Medical Board.
